Today's Teaching: Yield To The Spirit

Now here we see something amazing that the children of Israel were chosen people of God, but they had to pass through a season of pressure, they had to pass through a season of pain. Your faith will always be tested. Now God speaks a word and He said, since the days of Abraham and he said they are the chosen people, they are the anointed people, but yet they had to go through so much turmoil. Why? Because God was testing their faith. How do you know when your faith needs to be in action? I’m going to tell you the first key:

1.  If it’s not enough to kill you, it’s just enough to build your faith. The more that they try to hurt them, the more they try to come against them, the more that they try to abolish them, the more they try to keep them down, the more that the children of Israel look and say hold on one moment, God you said in your word, God you promise and what begins to start happening is that the more that they try to damage them, the more that they try to kill them off the more they multiplied. 
Why? Because their faith never died! You faith can only be tested after enduring a season of affliction. When affliction is in your life it’s the time that God is calling you to activate your faith!  And when you activate your faith, you begin to start moving, not in a recession. You don’t move, you don’t begin to start looking at your situation but when you move by faith you activate the kingdom principle that through God all things are possible. So the first thing that we must understand is that when you’re called or anointed of God, to access your anointing, you can only access the promises of God through faith.

The more that they afflicted them, the more that they grew. When God challenges your faith, He always puts you in a situation. Now you thousands of people that are listening to me on this line, you might be in a situation right now, you have a jam, you need God to give you a miracle whatever it is, for some people it might be finances, for others it might be healing, for others it might be you at your work, for others it might be paper work, it might be a legal settlement; whatever it is, God is challenging you to put your faith in action.  

Here we begin to start see the first place in the Bible where we see God beginning to test Abraham’s faith on his journey, Genesis 22:1:

Wait a second, when, it was right after Abraham had just got on his feet, it was right after Abraham just had Isaac, the Bible said, He God tempted him. God tempts you and He always will challenge your faith before you enter into your new season, He will always challenge your faith before He releases a measure of a miracle because He wants to make sure that you’re looking at him for where  help cometh. That you’re looking at the Lord God and not the flesh, not man but you’re looking at God. So that when God begin to start testing you it is the time that you do not get upset, it is not the time to be afraid, it is not the time to sit down, it is the time that God is testing you for you to stand up by faith and say God here am I, I’m ready for the challenge because I’m ready for supernatural favor, I’m ready for supernatural miracles. You can not have a testimony without a test. 

A test comes before the testimony, why?

A test comes before the testimony because God has something specially set up for you and it is going to produce a testimony, it is going to produce a testimonial. So a test must come before it to prove God that He’s real in your life. This way you’ll have something to talk about. God will always give you something to talk about. Yeah. And that’s your testimony. 

Abraham, the Bible declares and it came to pass after these things, right after he just (09:23?) right after things looking just great, right when Abraham started to become comfortable, God tested him. When you’re comfortable with God and when you become spiritually comfortable there’s no growth. Faith is the only thing that grows us spiritually. Why? Because through faith it’s the only way that you see the Master, faith is the only way that you get God’s attention. So here, the Bible declares and it came to pass after all these things that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 

"And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah."

To really operate by faith and in every instance where God challenges your faith, when God challenges your faith in action, when God challenges your faith, when He challenges you and puts you through a test, God will always make you look at the kingdom. Now I want to talk to you a little bit about this kingdom stuff, so people understand what it means. The Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God then all these things will be added unto you. Faith makes you operate by God’s economy not man’s economy. These people on this line that are saying, I don’t have enough money but I know God called me to open up an orphanage, I have no money prophet but I know God called me to open up schools around the world, prophet I haven’t had the money but I know God called me to preach the gospel. We do business with our currency which is the dollar, which is money; God does His business with our faith. Faith is the only currency that heaven responds to. Faith is the currency that can get you everything that you need when you need it.

Now the first thing that I want you to understand is that we must understand who we are before we can move with blind faith. Oh, I’m excited tonight! Now the Bible declares in the beginning God created us in His image and in His likeness so we were made in the image of God. We were made to be participants in God’s kingdom. Now the angels are also in God’s kingdom, but the angels in God’s kingdom operate according to the way that our faith operates. Now angels in heaven do not have access to God’s power. The angels in heaven do not have access to the anointing, the power of God.

The shevrak angel guards the glory what we understand about angels, but they do not have access to the power of God. I heard one Christian song that they were singing in church and they were talking and the people were singing and saying we are part of the army of the Lord, we are part of the army of the Lord, we are the army of the Lord and they had it all backwards and God came down we are not part of the army we are God’s children. The angels in heaven are part of the army, the elders and the angels and the archangels in heaven are all part of the army part of God’s army. But we are God’s sons, we are God’s children, we are God’s daughters and sons...
